Citizens4Community (C4C) recently selected ten organizations, businesses, and individuals as the recipients of its 2024 Momentum Grants. Now in its fifth year, the program offers funding for grassroots community building initiatives aligned with the core principles of the Sisters Country Vision.

Each year, Citizens4Community’s Momentum Grants support local grassroots initiatives aligned with the Sisters Country Vision. We are now accepting applications for our 2024 program, with a goal to issue $7,000 in small grants to local organizations and individuals.
This spring, the City of Sisters is partnering with Citizens4Community to launch the Sisters Civic Leadership Academy. The Academy is an innovative civic leadership training model, designed to build a broader, stronger pool of talented future leaders for Sisters' local committees, boards, and organizations.
After a one year hiatus, local nonprofit Citizens4Community (C4C) is partnering with community volunteers to bring back the Sisters Banner Project – a beloved tradition that honors local graduating high school seniors.
Citizens4Community is excited to announce the hiring of Kellen Klein as our Executive Director. Kellen has served as Interim Executive Director of C4C since June, and will continue to lead the day-to-day operations of the organization in a permanent capacity going forward.

One of the three legs of Citizens4Community’s mission is “Civility.” In that spirit, C4C Interim Executive Director Kellen Klein made a non-partisan public statement at last week’s City Council meeting regarding the Sisters Cold Weather Shelter.
Each year, C4C dedicates a small pool of funding to help catalyze community-led actions aligned with the Sisters Country Vision. After thoughtful deliberation, we are proud to announce our 2023 Momentum Grant recipients.
