Incorporating the Civility 'Tools'
Into Your Organization's Culture

If you’re interested in talking to an organization about passing a resolution for civility or writing a letter to support using the 9 tools of civility, the following samples can help you find a starting point. These examples represent the type of language various Sisters area associations, boards and businesses are using. You are free to use the language presented here; but you don’t have to.

To keep the Sisters Country Civility Project as meaningful as possible and as reflective of our community as possible, C4C supports having local groups tailor their resolutions and possibly even add a 10th civility "tool" that speaks specifically and genuinely to the work and values of their organization.

In addition, if you would like a member of C4C to talk to your group or organization, we’re happy to do that, too. Simply Contact Us.

This resolution helps the SOQS leadership and volunteers walk our talk of serving our community through civility, understanding and cooperation.”
