You're invited to consider the values and visioning questions above; then, make sure to take part in a unique, upcoming activity—the 2018 Sisters Country Values & Vision Community Quilt project.
Add your unique voice to the project! It's free! All you have to do is ink your thoughtful comments about the questions above onto pre-sewn fabric squares. The squares will be available at four Citizens4Community-sponsored Values & Visioning booth events in March.
C4C has partnered with the East of the Cascades quilters. And this spring, these amazing ladies will stitch your 5"x5" square into a design that also includes some 169 other squares inspired by your fellow community members. Then, make sure to look for our community quilt when it makes its debut at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show!
In addition to forming the heart of this permanent piece of public art, your sentiments also will help inform and guide the Sisters Country Visioning process. Currently underway, the 2018 visioning effort will help shape community development for years.

...Come, learn more about the Visioning effort and help shape our future! In addition to quilt-square-signing, booth activities also will include surveys and information-sharing by County/City visioning reps, plus giveaways for participants. For instance, at Ray's, you'll get two cans of soup just for offering your two cents on the quilt!
The quilt and Values & Visioning activity booths are a project of Citizens4Community, in collaboration with the East of the Cascades Quilters and other valued partners, including: Kathy Deggendorfer Designs, the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, Stitchin’ Post, Ray’s Food Place, Suttle Tea, Sisters Library, the City of Sisters, and County leaders.
The project also has drawn encouragement and vital support from others, including: Deggendorfer, Jill Miller, Jeanette Pilak, Jean Wells, Jeff McDonald, Zoe Schumacher and Judy Trego. Quilters involved include: Diane Tolzman, Gilda Hunt, Janet Storton, Janet Roshak, Sue Olsen, Cece Montgomery, Nancy Frazeur, June Jaeger, Susan Cobb, Joan Santoro and Jerry Lindstrom.
