This free workshop is designed for equal numbers of self-described conservatives and liberals and is limited to the first 30 participants (15 in each category).

This promises to be a powerful event as we grow to better understand our differences—and appreciate those differences—and as we develop stronger communication.

Sisters' Family-Friendly Fiesta Set for Sunday, Sept. 16

Citizens4Community, in collaboration with the Sisters Latino community, will present Sister's first community-wide Fiesta de Independencia on Sunday, Sept. 16. The event recognizes Mexican Independence Day and offers all of Sisters Country a fun opportunity to gather and make new friends against a backdrop of wonderful food, lively music and beautiful folkloric dancing.

Citizens4Community has a busy summer of interactive fun planned; and we're sincerely hoping you can join us for every beat and step of the way!

In addition to the Rhythm & Song in the Park community "play" date set for July 19, we'll also be presenting a community "Let's Dance" event on Wednesday, Aug. 15. A big thank you to our partners, including Sisters Park & Recreation (SPRD), Ford Family Foundation, Melvin's by Newport Avenue Market, and the Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District.

Rhythm and Song Event in Village Green Park

Join us as we celebrate the heartbeat of Sisters with a community-wide, free Rhythm and Song event 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, July 19 in Village Green Park.

Bring family and friends, young and old. The event begins with a free community picnic dinner in the park at 5:30.

The interactive music begins at 6 p.m. Rhythm instruments will be provided, or you may bring your own!

Festivities will be led by Jodi Winnwalker of Earthtones Northwest. This all-community event is being presented by Citizens4Community in partnership with Sisters Park & Recreation District (SPRD) and Melvin's by Newport Avenue Market in Sisters.
