Citizens4Community invites you to participate in our monthly "Let's Talk" small-format discussion series. In December we'll be looking at the topic of Affordable Housing in Sisters. The evening runs 5:45 to 8 pm. Dec. 16 at Paulina Springs Book Store, 252 W. Hood Ave.

For December’s conversation, we’ll be joined by Patrick Davenport, Community Development Director for the City of Sisters, who can help give us insight about past and current local affordable housing efforts as well as future plans. The discussion will be co-moderated by professional facilitators Chris Laing and Terry Buchholz. Stephen King will lead the Let’s Talk warm-up session.

Let’s Talk discussions are designed so we can thoughtfully examine a topic from various perspectives. It’s a moderated forum where people can share their opinions in a respectful setting. So we encourage you to not only join us but also to bring someone who has a somewhat different point of view.

We get together to consider a different Let’s Talk topic every 3rd Monday of the month. Topics are nominated by the Sisters Country community members who participate. Recently, participants indicated they also would like to discuss issues related to local transportation; so look for that event to be included in our early 2020 Let’s Talk lineup. To learn more about the discussion series, how it works, how it started and past topics, see C4C’s NEWS articles HERE>> and HERE>>

The events are free, but seats are limited and registration is required. Please sign up soon to reserve your place at the discussion table. Hope to see you there!
