C4C's 2024 Momentum Grants Program Now Accepting Applications

Do you have ideas to make this community more prosperous, livable, resilient, or connected? We want to support you!

A thank you note from some young 2023 grant recipients.

Each year, Citizens4Community’s Momentum Grants support local grassroots initiatives aligned with the Sisters Country Vision. We are now accepting applications for our 2024 program, with a goal to issue $7,000 in small grants to local organizations and individuals.

The Sisters Country Vision is a "guiding light" for our community – developed through a community-wide process and overseen by a team of local agencies, organizations, and individuals committed to a better future for Sisters Country. It lays out goals and aspirations for a more Prosperous, Livable, Resilient, and Connected community.

True to their name, C4C's Momentum Grants are designed to build grassroots momentum aligned with the Vision’s core focus areas. We are particularly interested in supporting projects that:

  • Are early-stage but show potential for bigger, longer-term impact

  • Incorporate new voices into community building work

  • Demonstrate collaboration with fellow community builders

Any organization, group, individual, or business doing community-oriented work in Sisters Country is eligible to apply, with the exception of entities whose primary purpose is political advocacy or practicing religion. 501(c)(3) nonprofit status is NOT required. Funding (up to $1,250 per grantee) can go toward any project-related expenses, but general operating budgets and capital campaigns are not eligible. Examples of prior grant recipients can be found here.

Applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee comprised of two C4C board members and three members of the Sisters Country Vision Implementation Team (VIT). Grant recipients will be selected based on their alignment with the core goals of the Sisters Country Vision.

Applications for our 2024 Momentum Grants are open now, and due March 31st!
