We help community leaders, volunteers, and residents build connections and work together to address local challenges.

Community Builders Network

Our monthly Community Builders meetings are designed to help you:

  • Connect with fellow local change makers;

  • Share current priorities, needs, and opportunities;

  • Discuss timely topics and community challenges; and

  • Explore opportunities for collaboration and problem solving.

Hosted by a rotating cast of local businesses and organizations, the meetings are open to anyone interested in building community in Sisters Country. Typical attendees include local nonprofit representatives, civic leaders, business owners, and engaged community advocates and volunteers.

Sisters Country Vision

The Sisters Country Vision is a long-term roadmap for our community. Around 2,000 community members participated in the original visioning project back in 2018, culminating in the creation of a Vision Action Plan. At the heart of the plan are four focus areas and twenty core strategies meant to inform, inspire, and guide local stakeholders committed to creating a more thriving community.

C4C helped conduct more than 80 interviews, 13 community meetings, two online surveys, and four community forums to inform the Vision Action Plan. We also led the development of the amazing Sisters Country Visioning Quilt.

Today, we serve as facilitators of the Vision Implementation Team (VIT). Composed of local agency representatives, organizational leaders, and community volunteers, the VIT meets regularly to identify challenges, brainstorm solutions, coordinate broader community engagement, and secure support for Vision-aligned initiatives.
