Located in the heart of downtown Sisters, The Hub is designed to serve as “the center of civic life in Sisters Country.” In addition to C4C’s headquarters, The Hub offers drop-in, donation-based coworking; bookable meeting and event spaces; soundproof phone booths; a community kitchen and lounge area; resources for local nonprofits; a regular schedule of community events; and a rotating display of local art.

In short – it’s a place where our mission comes to life.

With plenty of desks, gigabit internet, cozy lounge furniture, shared kitchen, a bookable meeting area, and much more, The Hub is the perfect space to get to work in service of Sisters Country. Whether you’re a local nonprofit volunteer, entrepreneur, burgeoning artist, or just passing through town, there’s a seat for anyone who believes in the power of connection.

The Hub’s coworking area operates on a gift economy model, in support of our mission to foster a more connected community. Just pay what you can! While there is no charge to use the space, we hope you’ll consider donating to C4C to keep the space accessible and support our broader community building work.

Separated from our coworking area by a 6’ wall of lockers with soundproofing panels. 12 can fit comfortably; more if you squeeze! Great for casual conversations, lunch n’ learns, and planning sessions. Wifi, TV, and rolling whiteboard included. Available Mon-Fri, 9 AM to 4 PM.

The Hub is available to rent in its entirety for public and private events outside of business hours (before 9 AM and after 4 PM on weekdays, all day on weekends). Rates are sliding scale and intentionally affordable for groups of all financial means.

Artists in residence

The Hub’s walls are adorned with a regular rotation of works by local artists. And all of it is for sale! Here’s who’s currently hangin’.

DIANE GOBLE

Diane found her way to Sisters in 2010 via New York, Miami, Chicago, and Los Angeles. She has been a creative all her life – art and writing have been part of everything she became involved with during her career, and remain so to this day in her 80s.

When Diane was 30 and a mother of three children, she drowned in a white water river rafting accident and had an extensive Near-Death Experience (NDE). It had a profound and transformational affect on her life. She would soon return to education, and has since written seven books, is currently working on a screenplay, and has pursued numerous artistic endeavors.

During the COVID lockdown, she decided it was time to try to describe her NDE with visual art – “because there really are no words...” – and learned how to do acrylic pouring. To date, she has 103 paintings that show what words can’t describe, in beautiful color palettes and otherworldly designs that turn out to be incredible meditation, stress management, and creativity-expanding tools.

Diane has two Master’s Degrees in Psychology and Clinical Hypnotherapy, and was a spiritual counselor and teacher for decades.

Cat Connor

Cat Connor has loved photography since childhood and has always been inspired by the beauty of nature. After years as a nature photographer, she discovered a passion for night photography over a decade ago, spending countless nights beneath the incredibly dark skies of California's Eastern Sierra Nevada capturing the Milky Way and star-filled landscapes.

About ten years ago, Cat moved to Sisters to be closer to family. A lifelong dream of seeing the aurora borealis became reality, and today she has the rare joy of watching the northern lights from her own backyard.

Inspired to display her images in a unique way, Cat created illuminated canvas prints that transform her photographs into warm, glowing works of art. Also available through her Etsy shop, these lighted canvases bring a sense of warmth and wonder to any space. She has also recently begun exploring AI-generated artwork, adding another creative dimension to her artistic journey.
