Citizens4Community (C4C) is a nonpartisan nonprofit that fosters a connected community in and around Sisters, Oregon by encouraging civility, collaboration and civic engagement.
Founded in 2016, we’re working to build a vibrant, resilient rural community where everyone thrives and feels they belong. We design and produce local events and programs that bring folks together, build trust, enable cooperation, cultivate local pride, and help everyone get engaged in the powerful act of community building.

Calling all seniors! Join local organizations and community volunteers for a monthly meet-up. Each gathering will offer time for casual social connection over refreshments, an educational presentation, activities and crafts, and a chance to meet with local providers offering senior services, support, and guidance.
Join local volunteers, network-weavers, and organizational leaders for C4C’s monthly Community Builders meeting. This October, we’ll travel to some of Sisters Country’s most notable historic sites and hear from Deschutes Land Trust and the Camp Polk Pioneer Cemetery Preservation Committee.
C4C and SFF Presents are excited to host our fourth night of community social dance and fiddling tunes, benefiting Outlaw Strings! Held at The Belfry, this family-friendly event will feature live fiddling and dance calling by Scandalous Chutney, your local youth strings dance band.

Join C4C for Let’s Watch! Holiday Movie Bingo – a night devoted to celebrating everything corny, predictable, and yet still endearing about made-for-TV holiday movies. Hosted at The Belfry, and with support from St. Charles Health System, this event turns bad acting and holiday tropes into a silly, family-friendly game!
