Completed. If you were able to attend this Citizens4Community meeting, thank you! We enjoyed a wonderful turnout of about 40 individuals. The discussion inspired laughter, heartfelt observations and a lot of idea-sharing. If you weren't able to attend, here is a brief summary: The meeting reflected back on the engaging and exciting discussions organized by C4C Jan. 13-14 to help the community learn more about the Speak Your Peace Civility Project. In total, those events—featuring national SYP spokesperson Rob Karwath—drew more than 300 Sisters Country residents. "Next Steps" meeting attendees also heard the results of surveys completed by participants of those prior events. (For those survey findings, see the post on our Projects Page). Together, we also discussed possible ways to move forward—to engage people and organizations in a grassroots effort to foster more civic engagement and more respectful communication. The meeting served as a powerful beginning to our efforts to help strengthen Sisters Country. Again, thank to you all who attended; and stay tuned for more news and events.
