Learn how to turn your community building vision into a reality.
So you have an idea to help the community – how do you make it happen? This fall, Age-Friendly Sisters Country (AFSC) and Citizens4Community (C4C) are teaming up to help residents of Sisters Country answer this question. Join us on November 10 for a FREE workshop – in person and online – covering the ins and outs of community engagement in all its forms. Light refreshments will be provided.
Featuring representatives from an array of local nonprofits and philanthropic organizations, this event will help you learn:
Why fiscal sponsorship can be an efficient way to launch a new community program
How to start your own nonprofit organization
Other ways to support local organizations with your time, treasure, and talent
The tradeoffs between these various pathways to creating social impact
This event is free, but attendance is limited. Register now.
