To celebrate the kickoff of our new Land of 1,000 Picnics program, C4C is hosting its own picnic in the park!
Join us on Tuesday, August 27th from 5:30-7:30 PM for a free, family-friendly community gathering in Village Green Park.
Bring your own dinner and picnic blanket, and we’ll provide the entertainment:
Live music and contra dance calling by Scandalous Chutney – the dance band sub-group of the Outlaws Strings fiddling club!
Lawn games galore!
Complete a networking activity and get a tasty treat!
No tickets or registration required; just come hang out and have fun! Why? Because sharing a meal with neighbors is a powerful way to build community connection, resiliency, and belonging. We can’t wait to see you there!
P.S. Want to organize your own neighborhood gathering? We’ll give you $150 toward event expenses. Learn more and apply here!
Please contact Kellen Klein, C4C Executive Director, with any questions – director@citizens4community.com.
