The Sisters Country Connects website has been discontinued.
Citizens4Community (C4C) has elected to shut down this community website (previously accessible at sisterscommunity.org and sisterscountryconnects.org) due to lack of use and growing maintenance challenges. We remain committed to helping Sisters Country residents and organizations get access to the resources, information, and connections they need to thrive.
We now recommend the following local websites and resources:
-
Post your events and view what’s coming up on The Nugget’s Community Events Calendar. No account needed.
We also recommend The Nugget’s Announcements page, Explore Sisters’ Events page, and the Chamber of Commerce’s Events page.
-
For local businesses, check out the Chamber of Commerce’s Member Directory.
For local nonprofits, volunteer groups, places of worship, and social clubs, check out C4C’s “Find Your People” database.
-
C4C’s Sisters Country Resource Guide lists a variety of local services and organizations supporting community needs like housing, food access, utilities, and youth and senior services. Printed versions are available by request. We will soon release a digital-first, bilingual 2025 edition of the Guide.
We also recommend the City of Sisters’ Community Resources page.
-
The Vision now has its own website! Visit sistersvision.org.
-
C4C’s “Find Your People” database lists local groups offering volunteer opportunities.
Connect Central Oregon also maintains a list of open volunteer positions from across the region.
