A charming small town, decked out for the holidays.
An busy big-city professional, short on holiday spirit.
An attractive stranger, struggling to keep the family business afloat.
A Christmas deadline.
And a cheery old man who looks a lot like Santa…
You’ve seen this movie before. Maybe not this exact movie, but close enough to fa-la-laugh along!
Join C4C for Let’s Watch! Holiday Movie Bingo – a night devoted to celebrating everything corny, predictable, and yet still endearing about made-for-TV holiday movies. Hosted at The Belfry, and with support from St. Charles Health System, this event turns bad acting and holiday tropes into a silly, family-friendly game!
How it works:
We’ll choose a corny holiday film – the type for which a particular TV-and-greeting-card-brand-that-shall-not-be-named is known. ;) You’ll have to come if you want to know exactly which one, but we promise it’ll be filmed in Canada and feature a vaguely familiar former child actor.
Attendees will receive a bingo card filled with the clichés and predictable moments for which these cheesy films are renowned. Then settle in and pay attention, because every bad plot twist might be another check on your board!
This isn’t a night for reverent viewing. Jingle bells, jeers and cheers, and calling out your bingo squares are all encouraged!
We’ll award prizes for bingo winners, most festive attire, and more!
So come spread some holiday silliness with us! Sure, you know what’s going to happen in the movie. But that’s the best part.
This event is FREE, but seating is limited. We strongly encourage you to register in advance!
This special event is possible thanks to the generous support of our “Let’s Get Together” event series signature sponsor, St. Charles Health System.
