Join C4C for a free workshop designed to help local leaders, entrepreneurs, and intrepid community members turn ideas into meaningful action.
Featuring Max Gimbel, Director of Rural Community Building at The Ford Family Foundation, this session will introduce participants to the 30-60-90 Day Action Planning tool – a simple yet effective framework for setting clear project goals and making steady progress. The fast-paced session will provide participants with a structured framework to prioritize initiatives, break down big ideas into manageable steps, and stay accountable to a vision.
Whether you're working on a personal project, leading a nonprofit, or running a local business, this event will give you the tools and motivation to make tangible progress in just 90 days. Come prepared to roll up your sleeves, set meaningful goals, and leave with a clear, actionable plan for the months ahead!
This free event will take place in the Sisters Makers building in downtown Sisters. Come for light refreshments and networking from 4:30-5 PM, followed by Max’s interactive presentation from 5-6:30. This is a unique opportunity to learn from his experience supporting community builders across rural Oregon and beyond.
The workshop is free, but space is limited. Register today!
Max Gimbel, Director of Rural Community Building at The Ford Family Foundation
About MAX Gimbel
Max Gimbel leads The Ford Family Foundation’s Rural Community Building team (formerly Ford Institute for Community Building). It’s a role he describes as walking alongside both communities and his RCB colleagues, supporting their priorities and passions. “Our roles involve many conversations and much listening,” he says. “We are always looking for community energy and potential that we might help nudge forward.”
Max joined the Foundation in 2012, following five years as a facilitator and trainer for the Ford Institute Leadership Program. His areas of emphasis were youth development and bilingual work with Latinx communities. Max holds a graduate degree in Spanish and Latin American literature from the University of Oregon, in addition to an undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College.
Max says he loves his work because it is fun, messy, amazing and complex—just like the rural communities and teams he supports and admires. When Max isn’t working, you can find him spending time with his family or running on trails.
