This free workshop is designed for equal numbers of self-described conservatives and liberals and is limited to the first 30 participants (15 in each category).
This promises to be a powerful event as we grow to better understand our differences—and appreciate those differences—and as we develop stronger communication.
Finding new ways to reach “Across the Divide” will undoubtedly enrich Sisters Country. It will help us work better together and resolve local issues as they arise.
The non-partisan workshop is set to begin at 4 p.m. Oct. 30 at Sisters City Hall. A meal will be provided.

During this custom-created, dynamic session, "The Paradox of Connection," you’ll gain ideas for fostering meaningful connections in a“highly-connected” world that paradoxically also encourages division and community disengagement.
You’ll learn why “showing up” (even when it’s hard) is key; and you’ll examine what "community" looks like through a new lens of courage, vulnerability, and connection.
