Listen Like You Mean It! (Workshop with Kirstin Anglea)

  • The Hub, by Citizens4Community 291 East Main Avenue Sisters, OR, 97759 United States (map)

What does it mean to really listen to someone? And how can it improve your work, relationships, and personal growth?

Join C4C for a FREE and engaging professional development workshop that will enhance your capacity to listen deeply to yourself and others. Led by former C4C board member, lifelong educator, and trained facilitator Kirstin Anglea, this session will invite you to:

  • Reflect on what good listening looks and feels like;

  • Learn about and practice a new form of listening that helps others feel seen and heard;

  • Explore how to apply quality listening skills in team meetings, small group settings, and 1:1 conversations.

While this workshop is designed especially for local organizational leaders, nonprofit staff, board members, and business owners, it is open to any community members eager to become more present and effective listeners. Whether you lead meetings, supervise staff, work with volunteers, or simply want to improve the quality of your conversations, this session will offer practical tools and a welcoming space to hone your listening skills.
