We care about the safety of our neighbors, so C4C is joining in the effort to support social distancing by postponing or canceling some of its springtime gatherings. Unfortunately, it looks like the Low Bar Chorale won’t be able to visit Sisters in early May to help C4C in partnership with the Sisters Folk Festival present a sequel to our popular Let’s Sing event held last November.

But the good news is….

There is a great opportunity right around the corner to belt out your feelings through song. Low Bar Chorale will be live-streaming a virtual sing-along this Tuesday evening. The event, “O Solo Low Bar,” will begin at 7:30 p.m. Visit Low Bar Chorale’s Facebook page HERE for more details. You won’t be alone; some 200 people around the state have already said they plan to participate.

Perch yourself in a window, lend your voice and listen closely and let’s see if we can build some fun and community as we sing together, albeit at a distance, here in Sisters.

Songs from Tom Petty, Paul McCartney & The Wings, Cyndi Lauper, the Beatles and Journey are among the many classics set for this virtual sing-along. You can find the evening’s songsheet HERE.
