Let's Talk to 'Zoom' Online With a Community Connect Event—We're Asking: How Are You Doing?
C4C is changing up how we do things, given the current Covid-19 situation. We’ve said from the day we launched our website back in 2015 that, “We’re All in This Together.” And that’s especially true now. …
…So we’re hosting a virtual Sisters Country-wide “Let’s Connect as Community” event via Zoom on our regular Let’s Talk night—the 3rd Monday of each month.
Special guests are set to include:
• Ian Reid, Sisters District Ranger for the U.S. Forest Service
• Roger Johnson, Fire Chief, Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District
• Cory Misley, City Manager for the City of Sisters
• Curtiss Scholl, Superintendent of Sisters School District
~ Join us on April 20 starting at 6 p.m. ~
• RSVP HERE •
We’re going to spend 60-90 minutes or so simply connecting as community and sharing experiences, information, tips and stories as we all manage our ways through the Covid-19 pandemic.
For example, we’ll be talking about:
> ways we’re coping with circumstances, staying well and staying connected with others during this period of social distancing and staying at home…
> bright spots in our days—those little “day-brighteners,” if you will, that we’re encountering and that are making a big difference… (Also, enjoy items dedicated to being “Day-Brighteners” in our C4C News pages.)
> needs in our community…
> ideas for ways to meet community needs—for example, our local businesses’ needs or needs related to isolation…
C4C board member Kirstin Anglea has graciously offered to host/moderate this session.
— RSVP above or HERE, (sharing your email) so we can save you a seat and send you the Zoom invitation in advance of the online gathering. —
You’ll simply need a computer with a video camera/microphone. We’d love to have you join us via video, but if you can only join us via audio (your phone), that will work, too. If you’re unfamiliar with Zoom, you can learn more HERE (link: https://zoom.us/docs/en-us/covid19.html).
Looking forward to seeing and talking with you soon.
