C4C can’t resist a friendly and robust community discussion—especially a good discussion that grapples with competing and thoroughly compelling perspectives. And that’s exactly what this month’s Creativity, Culture & Faith event is on track to deliver.

Presented by Sisters Community Church in partnership with Sisters Movie House, the Feb. 12 event will feature 1980’s award-winning film Breaker Morant. Afterward, Nugget editor and avid historian Jim Cornelius will facilitate what will surely be a lively discussion about the movie’s implications.

“The questions that Breaker Morant forces us to confront are timeless ones about morality in wartime, who has the standing to judge the actions of men under extreme duress, whether good acts make up for bad acts. It’s a great and thought-provoking film." —Jim Cornelius

The event is FREE. But to ensure a seat you need to pick up your complimentary tickets in advance at either: Gypsy Wind (351 W. Hood Ave.), or Sisters Community Church (1300 McKenzie Highway). For more details, call 541-549-1201.
