Dear Sisters Community,
It is with gratitude that I reach out to you as the Board President of Citizens4Community (C4C), and invite you to support our efforts to foster a more connected community in Sisters Country.
Since our founding in 2016, C4C has worked to create a more civil, collaborative, and civically engaged community. From facilitating thoughtful discussions about local issues to organizing public events that bring us together, we've strengthened the bonds between those who call Sisters home. And we couldn't do it without your support.
Today, I have exciting news to share.
The C4C Board of Directors has made a collective commitment to match the first $10,000 in donations we receive this season, dollar for dollar. This means that every dollar you contribute will double the positive impact we can have in Sisters Country.
Your donation will help us continue to support the Sisters community in many ways, such as:
Community events: Engage with local experts and community leaders about timely topics in our town. (Save the date for our upcoming Forum focused on combating loneliness and social isolation!)
Skill-building workshops: Learn how to find common ground, build trusting relationships, navigate challenging conversations, and more.
Facilitation: When community challenges emerge, local organizations and citizens trust us to serve as an “honest broker” that can help identify collaborative solutions. Our Community Builders meetings, Let’s Talk discussions, and facilitation of the Sisters Country Vision Implementation Team (VIT) are great examples.
Partnerships: We support others committed to bettering Sisters Country through our annual Momentum Grants, and collaborate with other organizations to bring new programs, ideas, and opportunities to the community.
The challenges we face as a community continue to evolve, and C4C remains dedicated to addressing them head-on. Your donation will help us expand our reach, develop new initiatives, and ensure that Sisters remains the special place we know and love.
