Every spring for several years now, a single pair of ducks (I like to think it’s the same pair) returns the pond next to our house. These "snowbirds" just landed again in Sisters this past week. As we're all experiencing a bit more of our lives "through the windows of our homes," it was a treat to watch these feathered friends again go about their regular, sort of graceful—but nonetheless humorous—business. I was reminded that, even amid rapidly changing scenarios, some things remain constant; and that "normal," good and funny is still all around us. It can be nice to just chill & enjoy simple things.
