Sooner or later, wildfire is coming. When it does, will we be ready?

Join C4C for the next event in our bi-annual series of Community Forums. This spring, we’re taking on a topic so vast and timely that it required more events and more collaborators.
In addition to our ongoing partnership with The Nugget, C4C is teaming up with Rotary Club of Sisters and Sisters Kiwanis to produce a two-part series covering one of Sisters Country’s greatest threats – wildfire.
Part 1 of this free, public, in-person + online series will examine our state of preparedness for wildfire threats – as individuals, neighborhoods, agencies, and a collective community. Featuring local experts with decades of experience in wildfire and emergency management, we’ll discuss the true risks to Sisters Country and what we can all do to be more prepared if flames blow our way.
Free on-site childcare, live-streaming, and other accessibility services are available (details below.)
The forum will be held in the new Sisters Elementary School cafeteria, with light refreshments provided. Following the initial panel discussion, we will open the floor to audience Q&A.
Stick around for our Preparedness Fair! Dozens of local organizations will be on hand offering resources and expertise around critical topics like evacuation routes, communication systems, “go bags,” home hardening, defensible space, first aid training, and more.
Our panelists will include:
