We’re wrapping up our 2020 Annual Fundraising campaign and want to, first, thank all of you who have made donations to support our nonprofit’s community-building work. Also, if you haven’t yet had an opportunity to donate, we’re asking for your help. Any amount is sincerely appreciated.
Whether its leading community talks and skill-building classes, or fostering collaborative efforts—like the creation of a new, “one-stop” community-wide website, or helping the community rally to support rural Oregon wildfire victims—C4C strives to create a more vital and connected Sisters Country.
Your donation will help us build local Collaboration and Civic Engagement and promote Civility toward one another as a way to continually strengthen the community.
You’ll be helping us present low-cost and no-cost events throughout the year and support local programs and projects that make Sisters Country better prepared to address opportunities and challenges as they arise.
HERE'S A VERY SMALL SAMPLE OF SOME OF OUR COMMUNITY-DRIVEN ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS:
The recent Sisters High School Class of 2020 Street Banner Project
Offering a broad-based, online listing of COVID-19 Resources
Special community-building events like the Freedom of Speech community forum, the Let's Sing! all-community sing at the Belfry, and the Fiesta at Fir Street Park
Professionally led skill-building workshops—like our collaboration workshop—to help residents and local volunteers become more effective communicators, facilitators and community-builders
Monthly Let’s Talk sessions—to inform about local topics of interest and give local residents a chance to freely speak about their opinions
Development of a Community Website in partnership with local Community Builders
Rallying businesses and individuals to donate money, wildfire clean-up tools and supplies for our McKenzie River neighbors.
