The executive director will be managing C4C’s day-to-day operations, including:

helping to administer projects and ongoing programs.
(For complete job description details, see “Primary Duties” below.)
Citizens4Community is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a 10-member Board of Directors. Our mission is to build a more connected community by encouraging civility, collaboration, and civic engagement in Sisters Country. C4C got its start in late 2015; and in early 2016 we officially launched the nonprofit and our first major initiative—the Sisters Country Civility Project. (We encourage you to explore our website and learn more about C4C.)
Our current work focuses on community-building efforts that bring Sisters Country residents, organizations, agencies, and businesses together—so, as a community, we can effectively address challenges and pursue opportunities as they arise.
We convene small and large community conversations, and we seed local collaborative efforts. We also offer communications and leadership skill-building sessions. And we sponsor a variety of events and activities designed to build local relationships and trust. Our 2021 budget is projected to be about $114,000.
The starting salary range for this position is up to $40,000, based on a 32-hour workweek and depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include two days of paid time off (PTO) per month. C4C is an equal opportunity employer.
Ultimately, we’re looking for a multi-talented, dynamic, and experienced leader—someone who has a heart for community service and community-building—to advance C4C’s mission and vision. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, ensuring that it is operating efficiently and effectively to meet strategic objectives.
The Executive Director also will serve as the face of C4C and will be working closely with the Board, volunteers, and our local partner organizations to bring positive local leadership, grow awareness of C4C, and ensure our nonprofit’s ongoing success.
