In anticipation of the potential loss of SNAP benefits, C4C has been working with regional food access organizations to develop a Sisters Country-specific list of resources for community members in need. Recognizing the immense goodwill in our community, we’ve also compiled guidance on ways people can help address threats to local food security.
Although a judge ruled today that the federal government must use emergency funds to pay for SNAP benefits during the ongoing shutdown, the situation remains in flux. Recognizing this continued uncertainty, we believe it's still important to share our resource list with the community.
