Get support “aging in place” in Sisters Country.
In mid-2025, Serving Our Seniors (SOS) formed as a fiscally sponsored project of Age-Friendly Sisters Country. Over the next eight months, volunteers gathered data, held listening sessions, researched programs in other communities, and spoke with local service providers – all in an effort to identify what our community has and needs to fully support our growing senior population.
In early 2026, C4C teamed up with SOS to bring these findings to the public – first through a series of articles in The Nugget, then through a Senior Resource Fair; and finally via our spring 2026 Community Forum.
The following resources were compiled by C4C and SOS for the benefit of seniors, their families, and caregivers seeking guidance on “aging in place” in Sisters Country.
