C4C Launches Micro-Grant Program To Encourage Neighborhood Gatherings
This summer, local nonprofit Citizens4Community (C4C) wants residents of Sisters Country to get outside and connect with their neighbors. “Land of 1,000 Picnics” offers community members and organizations up to $150 toward expenses for neighborhood picnics, potlucks, block parties, and related activities.

Citizens4Community (C4C) recently selected ten organizations, businesses, and individuals as the recipients of its 2024 Momentum Grants. Now in its fifth year, the program offers funding for grassroots community building initiatives aligned with the core principles of the Sisters Country Vision.

Each year, Citizens4Community’s Momentum Grants support local grassroots initiatives aligned with the Sisters Country Vision. We are now accepting applications for our 2024 program, with a goal to issue $7,000 in small grants to local organizations and individuals.

This spring, the City of Sisters is partnering with Citizens4Community to launch the Sisters Civic Leadership Academy. "Let's Talk: Celebrating Women of Sisters" Is a Wrap!
Held at Paulina Springs Bookstore March 20, 2023, from 6-7:30PM.
What a terrific turnout of women (and men)! Wonder-filled stories, complete with honest challenges and successes were shared by some of the diverse women who help make Sisters the town that it is.
A big thanks to Paulina Springs Bookstore for offering a 20% off coupon for any books by women authors and 20% off any books on their women's history display at the front counter. This was available to anyone who attended this event!
